The essence of Yin is yielding and depth is gained through time, not intensity. This class begins with grounding, balancing Pranayama (breathing) techniques designed to slow and root the whole of your being. Extended hold times in asana safely stress ligaments, bones and joints to encourage strength without struggle.

While in shapes (poses), we continue to honor and explore the breath, the flow of thoughts, sensation and energy and we meet the magic of stillness.

This class is flowing but not vigorous and is open to all levels of practice.
