Merin Perretta, LCMHC, MA.
I am inspired by the unique constellation of Being from which each person is created: your physical body, thought & energy patterns, lifestyle choices, dharmic path and karmic resistance. At each session I invite you to meet your experience with authenticity, to explore the edge of your practice where old habits meet new and to peel away the layers of separation. It is an honor and a privilege to witness the resulting health, strength, and genuine bliss that comes from this work.
Credentials: I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with the State of Vermont. I hold a B.A. in Medical Sociology, M.A. in Counseling Psychology and am a 500-hour Kripalu Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher. I am also a certified Personal Trainer with advanced certification in YogaFit, YogaCore, YogaStrength and Pilates mat.
Since 2009, I have offered Yoga and wellness programs built on a foundation of natural alignment, balance and flow. More recently, my work has been focused on integrative counseling which blends psycho-spiritual practices with body awareness techniques and soulwork experiences.
In addition to formal training programs, I am a naturally curious person. I learn every day from mindfully walking my path, observing myself in movement and stillness, relationship and solitude, as a parent and as an active participant in my community. I am deeply devoted to this path and always excited by the prospect of what will come next.
